ZionYEE Ceramic Black Car Wrap Film 5×50ft
ZionYEE Ceramic Black Car Wrap Film 5×50ft
Ceramic Black is a dense, high-gloss black from ZionYEE's Ceramic Gloss range — closer to glazed black ceramic or black glass than to a flat or satin black. It is a colour-change vinyl film supplied as one 5 ft × 50 ft roll for drivers who want a black that behaves like a polished hard surface.
- Deep neutral black with a hard, ceramic-like gloss — no brown or blue undertone
- Acrylic-based air-release adhesive, repositionable during fitting; dry application
- One roll, 5 ft × 50 ft (250 sq ft gross) — enough material to plan a full colour change; usable coverage depends on your cut plan
FAQ
Is this a gloss black or a matte black?
Gloss. Ceramic Black has a hard, high-gloss ceramic-like surface — it is not a matte or satin product.
Does it look grey or brown in some light?
The pigment is essentially neutral, but because the appearance is almost entirely reflection, the film will pick up the colour of whatever it is reflecting — blue sky, grey clouds, warm streetlighting.
Will it show scratches?
Light marks are more visible on black gloss than on any other colour here. Hand washing with clean soft tools, and avoiding automatic brush washes, makes a real difference.
Can I reposition the film while fitting?
Yes. The acrylic-based air-release adhesive is repositionable during installation, which is what makes a DIY fitting practical.
Will one roll wrap my whole car?
Depends on the vehicle. 250 sq ft of material is not 250 sq ft of installed coverage — measure your panels before assuming one roll is enough.

Finish and appearance
Ceramic GlossAlmost the entire appearance of this film is reflection. It mirrors the sky, surrounding vehicles and the light source itself, so the colour you perceive changes with what is around the car rather than with the film. In direct sun the highlights are very bright against very dark panels — a high-contrast, almost graphic look; under overcast light it goes uniform and deep; at night it largely disappears into shadow except where a light source catches it.
Two honest notes before buying. Black gloss is the least forgiving colour for panel condition — waves, filler and sanding marks read more strongly than they would under a lighter colour. And because no screen can render true black depth, the film will look deeper and glossier in person than it does in any photograph.
Appearance varies with lighting, viewing angle, panel shape and display.

Plan your material
This roll measures 5 ft × 50 ft (250 sq ft gross area). It does not guarantee coverage for a particular vehicle.
- Measure panels individually, including edges and curves.
- Check cut direction and seams against the 5 ft width.
- Allow for alignment and recuts; confirm the plan with your installer before cutting.
Installation and care
The air-release adhesive helps trapped air move toward an open edge. The film can be lifted and repositioned during installation. Apply as directed in the instructions supplied for this film.
Wait 24–48 hours before the first wash. Hand wash with pH-neutral car shampoo and avoid abrasive or automatic brush washes. For removal, use heat-assisted removal as directed for this film; paint condition and installation time can affect results. Test a small area first.
