ZionYEE Chrome Romanee Red Car Wrap Film 5×50ft
ZionYEE Chrome Romanee Red Car Wrap Film 5×50ft
Chrome Romanee Red is a deep wine-red chrome — the colour of red wine held up to a warm lamp, delivered with the reflectivity of polished metal rather than the softness of paint. It is a colour-change vinyl film supplied as one 5 ft × 50 ft roll for builders who want a true mirror finish and are prepared for what that demands during fitting.
- Deep wine-red chrome with a genuine mirror face that reflects surroundings rather than just light
- Acrylic-based air-release adhesive, repositionable during fitting; dry application
- One roll, 5 ft × 50 ft (250 sq ft gross) for full colour changes, panel accents and show builds
FAQ
Is this a true mirror chrome?
Yes. It reflects an image rather than a highlight, which is why the surroundings show up in the panel and why surface flaws underneath are more visible.
Is the red bright or dark?
Dark and saturated — a wine red, closer to red wine under a lamp or a candy-apple shell than to a fire-engine red.
Will my paint imperfections show through?
More than with any other finish. A mirror face amplifies orange peel, filler edges and panel ripples, so surface condition matters more here.
Can I polish out a scratch?
No. A chrome face cannot be polished or compounded without permanent marking, and brush-wash scratches cannot be removed.
Is this a sensible first wrap?
No. Tension changes the reflection and defects cannot be corrected afterwards, so this one assumes you have already wrapped a vehicle or two.
Will one roll wrap my whole car?
Depends on the vehicle, and chrome usually needs more allowance for recuts than a solid colour. Measure your panels before assuming one roll is enough.

Finish and appearance
ChromeThis is the key difference from every other film in the range: a chrome face reflects an image rather than a highlight. In direct sun it is extremely bright and the surrounding environment is clearly visible in the panel. In shade it drops toward a deep metallic red and reads much more like a conventional colour. Under street lighting at night it tends to split — bright along the reflections, near-black between them — which is a striking effect on a show car and a demanding one on a daily driver.
Two honest boundaries. A chrome face magnifies what is underneath it: dust, orange-peel texture, filler and panel ripples are all more visible under chrome than under any other finish, so the condition of the paint matters more here. And chrome is the hardest finish to photograph honestly — the camera either clips the reflections to white or underexposes them to black. Treat the gallery as an indication of the effect, not as a colour-accurate swatch.
Appearance varies with lighting, viewing angle, panel shape and display.

Plan your material
This roll measures 5 ft × 50 ft (250 sq ft gross area). It does not guarantee coverage for a particular vehicle.
- Measure panels individually, including edges and curves.
- Check cut direction and seams against the 5 ft width.
- Allow for alignment and recuts; confirm the plan with your installer before cutting.
Installation and care
The air-release adhesive helps trapped air move toward an open edge. The film can be lifted and repositioned during installation. Apply as directed in the instructions supplied for this film.
Wait 24–48 hours before the first wash. Hand wash with pH-neutral car shampoo and avoid abrasive or automatic brush washes. For removal, use heat-assisted removal as directed for this film; paint condition and installation time can affect results. Test a small area first.
