Size/ColorIce Cream Blue / 5FT x 50FT

Crystal Ice Cream Blue is a pale, milky pastel blue from ZionYEE's Crystal Gloss range — closer to soft-serve vanilla-blue or a nursery wall than to a sky-blue or a metallic baby blue. This is a colour-change vinyl film supplied as one 5 ft × 50 ft roll, for drivers who want a gentle pastel that still reads as blue rather than grey.

  • Soft pastel blue with a high-gloss crystal finish that keeps it from looking chalky
  • Acrylic-based air-release adhesive, repositionable during fitting; dry application
  • One roll, 5 ft × 50 ft (250 sq ft gross) for full colour changes, two-tone builds and accent panels

FAQ

Is it a pastel or a proper blue?

A pastel — a milky blue with a lot of white in it, not the saturated blue of a factory sport paint.

Will it look grey on the car?

It should not. It is formulated to stay on the blue side of grey, though overcast light and warm street lighting can make any pastel read cooler and flatter.

Is it gloss or matte?

Gloss. The sheen is what keeps a pale colour from looking chalky.

Can I reposition a panel while fitting?

Yes. The acrylic-based air-release adhesive is repositionable during installation, which is what makes a DIY fitting practical.

Will one roll wrap my whole car?

Depends on the vehicle. 250 sq ft of material is not 250 sq ft of installed coverage — measure your panels and plan seams before assuming one roll is enough.

Finish and appearance

Crystal Gloss
Ice Cream Blue is a light blue with a lot of white in it. Think the pale blue of soft-serve ice cream in a cartoon, or the washed blue of a painted nursery wall — cooler and milkier than a robin's-egg blue, and without the sparkle of a metallic pastel. It stays clearly blue rather than drifting into grey, which is where a lot of pale blues fail on a car.

Gloss matters more than usual on a pastel: it is what separates "creamy" from "flat and plasticky", and it gives the pale surface enough depth to show body lines. Direct sun washes the colour lighter and slightly cooler, and on a bright day the brightest panels can look almost white-blue. In shade the blue returns to full strength and reads a touch deeper, and at night under warm artificial lighting it can pick up a faint grey-violet tint from the light source.

Pastels are the colour family most often misrepresented on a screen — the same photo can look blue on one monitor and pale grey on another. Treat the on-screen shade as an indication rather than an exact match.

Appearance varies with lighting, viewing angle, panel shape and display.

Coverage depends on the vehicle, panel layout, installer and cut plan. Follow the product instructions for film-specific construction and application details.

Plan your material

This roll measures 5 ft × 50 ft (250 sq ft gross area). It does not guarantee coverage for a particular vehicle.

  1. Measure panels individually, including edges and curves.
  2. Check cut direction and seams against the 5 ft width.
  3. Allow for alignment and recuts; confirm the plan with your installer before cutting.

Installation and care

The air-release adhesive helps trapped air move toward an open edge. The film can be lifted and repositioned during installation. Apply as directed in the instructions supplied for this film.

Wait 24–48 hours before the first wash. Hand wash with pH-neutral car shampoo and avoid abrasive or automatic brush washes. For removal, use heat-assisted removal as directed for this film; paint condition and installation time can affect results. Test a small area first.
