ZionYEE Dream Volcanic Ash Car Wrap Film 5×50ft
ZionYEE Dream Volcanic Ash Car Wrap Film 5×50ft
Dream Volcanic Ash is a mid grey with a fine texture running through it — closer to cooled wood ash or damp poured concrete than to the flat, clean greys of most paint colours. It is a colour-change vinyl film from ZionYEE's Dream Texture range, supplied as one 5 ft × 50 ft roll and aimed at builds where the grey is meant to look like a material rather than a colour.
- Textured ash grey with a fine grain that reads as a surface, not a shimmer
- Acrylic-based air-release adhesive, repositionable during fitting; dry application
- One roll, 5 ft × 50 ft (250 sq ft gross) for full colour changes, partial wraps and trim work
FAQ
Is this a warm grey or a cool grey?
Faintly warm. It sits closer to wood ash and damp concrete than to a blue-ish gunmetal or a flat silver.
Does it sparkle like the other Dream colours?
No. The texture on this one reads as a fine matte grain under a gloss layer, not as glitter — it is visible on the car but largely invisible in photographs.
Will it clash with a factory silver or grey car if I only do part of it?
It is a mid-value grey, which generally blends more readily than a strongly tinted colour would. On a partial build, order enough for the panels you plan and measure before cutting.
Can I reposition a piece while fitting?
Yes. The acrylic-based air-release adhesive is repositionable during installation, which is what makes a home fitting practical.
Will one roll wrap my whole car?
Depends on the vehicle. 250 sq ft of material is not 250 sq ft of installed coverage — measure your panels and plan seams before assuming one roll is enough.

Finish and appearance
Dream Texture gloss with fine grainThis is the important distinction on this colour: the texture here reads as grain, not as glitter. Where the other colours in this range sparkle under a point light, Volcanic Ash simply looks like a finely textured surface — the sort of finish you would expect on a matte-painted piece of equipment, but with a gloss layer holding it. Reflections are clean but slightly broken up, so curved panels show highlights as broader, softer bands than they would on a smooth gloss film.
Greys are deceptive on screen. A display will typically render a warm grey either too blue or too flat, and the grain is essentially invisible in photography — it is something you see on the car, not something you can judge from a product photo. Expect the delivered film to read warmer and more textured than the gallery suggests.
Appearance varies with lighting, viewing angle, panel shape and display.

Plan your material
This roll measures 5 ft × 50 ft (250 sq ft gross area). It does not guarantee coverage for a particular vehicle.
- Measure panels individually, including edges and curves.
- Check cut direction and seams against the 5 ft width.
- Allow for alignment and recuts; confirm the plan with your installer before cutting.
Installation and care
The air-release adhesive helps trapped air move toward an open edge. The film can be lifted and repositioned during installation. Apply as directed in the instructions supplied for this film.
Wait 24–48 hours before the first wash. Hand wash with pH-neutral car shampoo and avoid abrasive or automatic brush washes. For removal, use heat-assisted removal as directed for this film; paint condition and installation time can affect results. Test a small area first.
